These terms set out the conditions for using Ueda Map, provided by the Ueda Map operator (the Operator).

1. Our service

We provide information about local sightseeing, shops, facilities and events. Bookings, purchases and employment agreements are between users and the relevant businesses. Inquiries submitted through this website are addressed to the Operator.

2. Checking information and using the service safely

We work to keep information accurate and current, but hours, prices, routes, events and vacancies may change. Check official information and instructions on site. Maps, historical scenes and illustrations include approximate or fictional representations. Do not operate the site while driving, enter prohibited areas or trespass on private property.

3. Shop accounts and listings

Accounts are issued after verification by the Operator. Keep credentials secure and do not share them with third parties. Contact the Operator if you notice unauthorized use. Contributors must check the accuracy of their content, their authority to publish, rights to photos and other material, and the legality of vacancies and advertising.

Submitted content may be copied or resized as necessary for publication and distribution. Rights remain with their owners. The Operator may review content, request corrections, withhold publication or remove it. Publication and display order are not guaranteed.

4. Prohibited conduct

Illegal activity, infringement of rights, false information, impersonation, abusive or discriminatory posts, unauthorized access, bypassing authentication, excessive requests and interference with the service are prohibited. Violations may result in removal of listings or restrictions on use as necessary.

5. Copyright and other rights

Rights to text, photos, illustrations, software and map data belong to the Operator or the respective rights holders. Do not reproduce or redistribute them without permission except as allowed by law or the relevant data licenses. Map sources and licenses are shown in the map credits.

6. Interruptions and liability

The service may be interrupted, changed or discontinued because of maintenance, failures, disasters or other circumstances. The Operator is not liable for damage that is not attributable to the Operator. These terms do not exclude liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law, including Japan's Consumer Contract Act.

7. Personal information and changes

Personal information is handled under our Privacy policy. Changes to these terms and their effective date will be announced on the website, and consent will be obtained where required.

8. Governing law and contact

Japanese law governs these terms. If a problem arises, we will first seek to resolve it through good-faith discussion. For corrections or rights concerns, use the contact form.
